Vertica's Mahony Describes Unique Approach To Analytics

HP Vertica's Colin Mahony said his company's platform was built from the ground up for analytics. Speaking inside theCUBE at Hadoop World, he said the goal was to "fix a lot of the inherent issues around traditional relational technologies around scalability" and that Vertica now supports "procedural programming that leverages the parallelism of our platform."
